If that is a folder, then the folder is entered and then exited again because there is now one history item to go back to. Ideally the behaviour should be the same as in the thumbnails pane (ie navigate back/forward in browsing history).Ĭlicking the forward button on the thumbnails pane when there is no newer history to go forward to, does select the thumbnail/file, and double-clicking forward opens/views the file (same as left button double-click).Ĭlicking back all the way to the start of browsing history also starts selecting the thumbnail/file, and double-clicking back also opens the file under the cursor. In the folders pane, clicking back/forward button always selects and views the folder under the cursor, the same as left-clicking. I have noticed that in recent (and maybe all) versions including 1.5.4 the mouse back/forward buttons work as expected in the browser thumbnails pane (navigate back and forward in browsing history, like web browsers and Windows Explorer), but not in the folder tree pane.
